End Hunger Fast launched itself onto the national agenda last week, as religious leaders published their letter of support for those being forced into food poverty by attacks on the welfare system. The wave of support has been incredible. These were some of the stories and responses from day one:

As the news broke the End Hunger Fast team were overwhelmed with the positive response, as people using the hashtag #endhungerfast came out in support of the campaign and the clergymen?
#endhungerfast good article, good cause. Proud of the bishops and clergy that have spoken out.

Overall an incredible first few days for End Hunger Fast, and it only remains for us to send a massive thank you to everyone who has supported already, and say we look forward to the challenges ahead!
Night Night all – great first day. We stood up and were counted. But our moral mission has just started…! #endhungerfast
