What a reaction to the April 4th day of fasting. Thousands of us made a real stand against UK hunger, fasting for 24 hours and praying and reflecting on the hunger all around us.
But our work is not done yet. As End Hunger Fast’s Lent and Easter of action draws to a close we have one more call for you.
Please join us on Wednesday 16th April at 6pm, Old Palace Yard, Westminster.
Click here to register and let us know you are coming.
Holy Week offers the chance to come together and offer our voices and prayers in support for government action on hunger.
The evening will include speeches from faith leaders and anti-poverty campaigners working to end the crisis in UK, and an opportunity to pray and break bread together. Please bring a candle as we will end with a prayer by candlelight.
This lent we have made the rise of hunger in the UK the focus of our fasting. Let us look to Easter with hope and determination to end hunger.

Sorry I can’t be there on 16 April but I hope the event goes well and is well publicised. As someone who took part in the national day of fasting on 4 April I was disappointed that it didn’t seem to be reported much in the media.
